[13] These figures are based on the National Disability Survey 2006 – First Results, Census sample, except for the last line of the table giving total number of people with disabilities aged 18-64 which comes from Census 2006. The categories are not mutually excluding as individuals may have a number of different types of impairment. The number of people recorded with a disability is sensitive to the questions used and the form of interviewing. The figures indicate a broad order of magnitude not precise estimates.
