The Experiences of Students with Physical Disabilities in Second Level Schools

The aim of this study was to explore the education experiences of young people with physical disabilities and especially the experiences of early school leavers. In particular, it was hoped to identify the factors which impede or, on the other hand facilitate the participation of young people with physical disabilities in the education system up to and into third level. The study was carried out for the National Disability Authority by the Children’s Research Centre at Trinity College Dublin.
